GET STARTED WITH DEARVR MICRO

With the free 3D panner plugin dearVR MICRO, you enter the world of spatial audio quickly and with the best possible audio quality. Position sounds everywhere in a three-dimensional space and turn your audio production into an immersive 3D audio experience. All you need is your favorite DAW with dearVR MICRO and a regular pair of headphones. In the following article we want to give you a first overview of the plugin and its features.

POSITION

Working in immersive audio formats, you can place your audio sources freely in a three-dimensional space. With dearVR MICRO you get new creative mixing possibilities far beyond the reach of a simple stereo panner. dearVR MICRO enables you to position signals in any location left, right, above, below, in front or behind your head - instead of only left or right. The parameters Azimuth and Elevation give you control over the horizontal and vertical position of your audio source.

When working with stereo tracks you can easily adjust the perceived stereo width using the width knob.

REFLECTIONS

dearVR MICRO enables you to control the acoustics of the surrounding virtual room by switching on the reflection section. Simply adjust the reflection’s length and level to shape the acoustics. Alter the reflection timbre and create unique acoustic environments by choosing between five different wall-, ceiling- and floor materials.

dearVR MICRO uses the same advanced audio core engine as Dear Reality’s high-end binauralizer plugins dearVR PRO and dearVR MUSIC to achieve the best possible audio quality.

FOCUS

dearVR MICRO is designed to facilitate mixing conventional mono or stereo audio with binaural audio and comes with the innovative focus control. Define with the Focus knob your personal sweet spot between a perfect externalization and an overall tonal preservation of your audio source.

HRTF

dearVR MICRO enables you to choose between the advanced dearVR HRTF and the well-known AMBEO Orbit HRTF.

OUTLOOK

dearVR MICRO opens up a whole new layer of creative mixing possibilities and lets you dive deeper into the world of spatial audio. Easily automate parameters in dearVR MICRO and start creating astonishing audio productions.
